When I first got my drivers licence 30 years ago 'fiddling' with the radio was widely recognised as a dangerous distraction while #driving

Then we recognised that cell phone use while driving was also #DistractedDriving and that smart phones made it worse.

But we still refuse to recognise that large vehicle displays (for both vehicle system controls and navigation) are also dangerous distractions. The simple fact is that anything, anything, that takes your eyes off the road while driving is a distraction and any distraction that is not absolutely necessary (i.e. checking speedometer) is a dangerous distraction.
