That's a good question @jerry !
Probably consolidation and shaking up of web hosting institutions, iBet.
Perhaps around breaking up ' NOT too big to Fail ' web hosting would be my guess.
Progress, huh? ไน| ๏ฝฅ ใฐ ๏ฝฅ |ใ
Could be good for the industry though and security globally. New CSuites. News CISOs. Probably four new sets at minimum. Probably something publicly traded. Leadership issues at some place keep playing the same ' excuses back to the investment crowd ' ๐ป... anyways and they are... a bit mad I'd say. Why keep investing in #Fail, right?
At least there is some movement around some of the big players in #CALEA #infosec software making news headlines in court, right? More auditing is a work in progress, as is always. ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
Outside of security as an industry probably Advertising leaving huuuuuge web service platforms looks to be a trend of late exacerbating income to free web hosting biz models. Totally disruptive to income into that industry is a rising trend. Driven even worse since it's a every four year cycle called #uspol. But that's kinda counter intuitive to something that should, as is traditional like gambling places and such where it ' should just print money iF run & managed well ' but not so much when it's managed poorly. Definitely due to PR would be my guess.
A growing area is definitely #DisasterPR firms for multiple industries & firms that specialize in specific industries. Those seem to be increasing exponentially!
