We are approximately $1,500 away from being able to get a car, and as a disabled couple, that would allow us to have a steady income (employment and saving funds would drastically change things for us).. There is more info in the fundraiser if you'd like to get more understanding! You'll also see the secondary goal is my top surgery, which won't be as difficult to accomplish either once we have a car. Plus, with Betty seeking employment, her finding even a part-time job alongside my art commission earnings could get us the proof of income to get us housed!! Update: A friend helped clear my rent arrears and part of another debt. I finally have some breathing room.
Still about $350 short for bills this month. Much smaller, solvable gap.
