Later today, I'm helping a 24 yr old disabled young adult with down syndrome (with social anxiety) to do her first grocery shopping trip without her parents using the accessible HandyDart bus system. Then, going to finish helping her setup her new independent living suite. This will all help her build up more confidence with living by herself for the first time. She is in PT college, pursuing medical transcription career & doing pretty well with her studies 👍
