Ever wish you had goggles that could see invisible disabilities? Luna did. So she built some. And she found what she was looking for: invisible disability ghosts. They’re not the spooky kind, just quiet reminders that people around her are carrying things you can’t always see. Chronic pain, mental illness, neurological differences, trauma, fatigue. They don’t show up on the outside, but they’re very real.

This comic is a reminder that people are fighting battles you’ll never notice unless you’re looking. It’s the person who needs the elevator, the one who avoids eye contact, the one who looks fine but sits down a lot. We see you ❤️

Everyone deserves a little more patience, a little more understanding, and maybe a stylish pair of empathy goggles 🛠️👓👻

Luna opened up about all her symptoms, trauma, and chronic pain… and the acupuncturist hit her with “your pain is spiritual.”

It’s one thing to be open-minded, but when you’re barely surviving, that kind of comment can sting.

Pain is real, whether it’s in the body, the spirit, or both. You deserve care that sees the whole you.

Chronic illness logic: You wake up with a decent pain level and suddenly you’re a speed-cleaning ninja with a death wish.

In this classic Luna moment, the pain scale dipped just enough to trick her into thinking she could conquer the world… or at least the laundry. Spoiler alert: she could not. But she did conquer the dishes, floors, and at least one very alarmed cat. That’s worth something, right?

This comic is for every spoonie who’s ever felt that rare burst of functionality and immediately sprinted headfirst into a self-destructive cleaning montage. You know who you are. You felt okay… until you didn’t.

Sometimes, managing chronic illness means fighting your own instincts to do all the things the second you feel a little better. But hey, if you’re gonna crash, might as well crash with a sparkling floor and folded laundry.

We see you. We are you. And we made this comic just for you.

Let us know: What’s the wildest thing you’ve overdone on a “low pain” day? We wanna hear your “oops” stories in the comments!!
