magnolia trees are one of the best parts of spring in Chicagoland. The appearance of the flowers, even before they open are so hopeful and when they bloom, they are so beautiful. But there is a sadness when they blame as well, for they are so short-lived. Their trees that bloom one day and because of fierce winds have few blossoms left the next. But they are incredible and incredibly old!
