I've thought a lot about why GOPers don't see Project 2025 as a real thing. Part of it, I think, is because of people like #DineshD'Souza making prophetic documentaries that never turned out as bad as they said it would. Their voters are primed to see things like P25 and the very real 900+ pages of threat it is as just political hot air. "They'd never pull it off" is something I've heard too often, especially when they don't realize the instructions to do it are in the book.
