Dill pickles today. Spiced them up a little extra in anticipation of needing to add more liquid since it is a packaged dill pickle mix which I'm not following the instructions since I like to ice them and not pour boiling hot liquid in icy cold jars. Hot pack!

15 pounds / 6.8 kilograms of sliced cucumbers made into 10+ quarts/liters.

A quart of pickles needs to be consumed every week, or make none next year.

Dill pickles.

13 lbs, 5.9 kg, cucumbers sliced up and divided between two tubs, contents of dill pickle mix divided and sprinkled on them and mixed, an amount of ice equal in weight to 7 cups of water divided and put on top, and tubs stacked and an empty tub on top with weight.

Jam made. 😜

Tubs dumped in 12 quart pot, vinegar added, heated till boiling. Hot jars packed and processed.
