Indigenous Australian VRES Summer Report. Last week, it was great to share the summer research work of several Indigenous students from the QUT Faculty of Business and Law with our research partner Triple A First Nations Media and their chief executive Renita Anderson. Question to all the #photo / #Image capture / #Archival crew out there:
Whats the recommended way of getting good digitisations from old photo albums?
I have been given a number of photo albums (some of them quite old) which can't be folded flat in to a scanner (specifically the scanner in a multifunction printer).
I've looked at some "Scanner Pens" and considered hanging the photo album off the side of the scanner while copying - neither of these feels like the right solution.
