EPP, together with far-right, formed a blocking minority in the EP to stop creation of online Digital Euro.

Online Digital Euro offers full sovereignty to our payment system and has only benefits for the EU and its citizens - so why the EPP and far-right is blocking it?

Because online Digital Euro endangers USA monopoly on payments, controlled by VISA and Mastercard.

@ueb_team161 do you need it to work across countries when cycling? If yes, probably Revolut is as of this moment the only one, although definitely not private and open source....keep an eye out for #digitaleuro tho, although it's not baked yet:
