Yesterday evening I had the honor of being one of six speakers at the closing rally of the 8M demo in #Linz, where each of us stood on a beer crate with a microphone to speak from different places among the crowd.

I was a bit worried about whether I could explain the #DigitalDepletionStrike in under 2 minutes, but in the end I was surprised and encouraged not only by the reactions at the rally, but also when people came to talk with us from @servus during the afterparty.

Are people finally fed up enough to want change?

- "Heißt das, mein Gmail-Account unterstützt das Patriarchat?"

- "Ja, aber wir verurteilen niemanden, der die Dienste dieser Anbieter nutzt..." die sg. Cloud-Dienste der großen Tech-Giganten sind auch mit IT-skills leider sehr schwer zu vermeiden.
