I've been home-brewing kombucha for a number of years now. I'm the only one in the household that regularly drinks the stuff, so I employ a 'continuous brew' method, whereby I take out a small amount at a time and replace the volume with new fresh tea.
Still, it tends to get a bit sour, so I would add a shot of Pimm’s No. 1, which resulted in a refreshing probiotic cocktail of the highest caliber.
When I gave up booze, I switched to Pathfinder Herb & Root, which is super tasty, but I found it hard to justify the price.
Lately, I've been cutting the booch with some coke zero. Which is actually really nice and is sufficiently reminiscent of the two previous cocktails.
