Bare Wires is a studio album by John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, featuring Mick Taylor on guitar, Chris Mercer and Dick Heckstall-Smith on saxophones, Jon Hiseman on drums, Henry Lowther on cornet and violin, and Tony Reeves on bass. It was released in 1968 on Decca Records.[6] The album was the last John Mayall studio album to feature the name "Bluesbreakers"

Following the album, Mayall pared down the group from a seven-piece to a three-piece band and ultimately dropped the Bluesbreakers entirely. Reeves, Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith went on to form Colosseum. - Wikipedia

This one features Graham Bond singing a song that's actually about him, though I'm not certain to what extent he was aware of it.

I mean, you probably won't find this on a jukebox, but those words... wow. By Pete Brown, I think.

Locked up in my fortress
I can't stop the crowds from passing sentence
On my state of undress
Be an entertainer
Slip it to them sly, they never notice
Lions eat the tamer
