In a diplomatic note to the embassy, the ministry said the administration’s fuel blockade was aimed at “causing the greatest possible harm to the Cuban economy, the well-being of the people, and their standard of living.”

Cuba’s President #MiguelDíazCanel has confirmed that talks are taking place between Cuban and #US officials.
According to #DíazCanel, the exchanges have been led by #RaúlCastro and involve international actors as well.
The Cuban president described the talks as respectful and delicate. He also stressed that any process must move forward on the basis of equality, sovereignty and self-determination.
