I remember #DianeSindall being murdered. I often pass her memorial stone on Borough Road. She is not forgotten.

The news that the convicted man has now been acquitted, due to previously unavailable DNA evidence, is shocking. I hope he can rebuild a life for himself. I also hope that the perpetrator can be identified and, if still alive, brought to justice.

What I would also like is for the #BBC to correctly report the facts. Diane Sindall was not "walking home from the pub" as stated on The World Tonight. She had driven from Lower Bebington, where she worked in the Wellington pub, and was murdered on Borough Road in Birkenhead, several miles away, after her car broke down.

As usual, this incorrect reporting of something about which I have a little knowledge makes me realise that I cannot believe anything I hear on the news.
