THREAD: I watched #Starmer's statement to the #Commons. Twice.

Several MPs did great. Kemi Badenoch was forensic. #DianeAbbott & #JohnMcDonnell rightly focused on the choice of #Mandelson.

#Starmer chose a man who was clearly, from the outset, unsuited to any public office. His obsession with process still blames everyone else for not stopping Mandelson.

The details are well-aired. Now there is a rerun of 2022: will the #UK remove a dud Prime Minister?
