I think I will need to get a KDE 4 VM installed to do testing to see how Diamond originally looked, because I want to modify Diamond4on6 to both 1. use the version from my backup (2.0.3, meaning the repo version will be rebased [this is because 2.0.3 works better]) and 2. I need to have a way to mess around with it in a state where it works and doesn't have a grey background.

Found Diamond 2.0.3 for KDE4 in some old backups and uploaded it to Codeberg in a zip file. Later it will be organized. I forgot this version existed and didn't know just how lost the Diamond theme was.

Making sure you're not a bot!

I've just published Diamond4on6 2.0, featuring a fix for all the colors that can be pulled from a color scheme being black instead. It doesn't have a fix for the scrollbars and everything else being out of place, though. I've also added a "manifest.json" file to the Plasma 4 version for future compatibility reasons in case Plasma gets rid of loading themes by .desktop files at some point.

First release of Diamond4on6, featuring a fix so it follows the color scheme instead of all the colors for icons and stuff being black - DrewNaylor/Diamond4on6

As the title says, this version features a fix for colors on things like icons and the network Plasmoid's speed graph so everything isn't just black. This was done by deleting the `colors` file so now your Plasma color scheme will be followed. I've also added a `manifest.json` file to the Plasma ...

I tried the Diamond #Plasma theme on my #PineTab2 but the translucency doesn't work there like it does on my desktop. I need to figure that out when updating it to work on #Plasma6 as #Diamond4on6 .

Just a side thing, I'm tempted to host an #ArchLinuxARM mirror because the official ones rarely work right.

Last time my desktop ran #Linux as my main OS, it used Upstart for the init system back on #LinuxMint 17.x, but now I use #systemd. There are some other major differences besides distro choice ( #EndeavourOS , so Arch-based) that I won't get into but it's really funny. Same KDE Plasma shell theme (Diamond), though. Really living in the Endless Now of Diamond (it's kinda broken so I have to fix it, mentioned that I'm going to do that before as #Diamond4on6 )

I think I'm going to have #Diamond4on6 versioning be 1.x for the #Plasma4 version and 2.x for the #Plasma6 version. Could probably have a version for #Plasma5 , but I don't use it and it's the old stable version (for now my version would probably work on 5, not sure, though; at least it will be available if someone wants to try).

I'm going to update the Diamond theme for #KDE4 so that it can work better on KDE6, as it's my favorite theme and has a few issues on #KDE6, mainly in the notifications. The project also doubles as an archival for this version, as I can't find everything in it consistently anywhere, and you can download it here:

Diamond4on6

The Diamond KDE Plasma 4 theme, updated for better compatibility with Plasma 6. Note that there's an updated version for KDE 5 here, but I don't like it as much: https://github.com/staffck1/Diamond-Plasma_Theme There's also another version of what seems to be the KDE4 version here, perhaps I shou...
