I do want to try and get to Enryaku-ji and Hieisan - even if from the Biwa side cablecar and not from #Kyoto
Last time had a great view form Shoden-ji - with Hieisan in the distance - what a garden and borrowed landscape use there!

Ferry to Shimabara on a foggy drizzly afternoon - destination up ahead!
Not the best weather for it that day but the ferry ride and side trip between Kumamoto and Nagasaki was such a super memorable part of my trip in 2023
