Sigh. The Detroit Red Wings are finally put out of our misery. Chances were slim if they won but they managed to blow three leads and lose to an already-eliminated Devils team.

I have no idea what it will take to restore this team to competitiveness.

When did Detroit sports crowds start singing the Olé song? The only time I've previously heard there it was from Habs or Leafs fans at Red Wings games. I've now heard it at Wings and Tigers games.

The exhibition was played outdoors at the Marquette Branch Prison between the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL) and a team put together by the inmates of the prison.
