Finally read Desert Moon of Karth and I really liked it. The factions are great. I wonder if it would work to give each PC a unique background that pushed them to work for a specific faction? E.g. someone infected with a rapid-aging virus who needs the Dawnseeker's gift of immortality serum.

Not expecting them to split up in an OSR game, but to really encourage them to investigate all the factions instead of just going all in with the nearest.

Just ran a one-shot of #Mothership, using the Desert Moon of Karth setting.

One player dissolved, one exploded, and one died of a heart attack. Grisly fun.
