A factory for producing #Swedish #Gripen fighter jets will open in #Ukraine around 2033, Defence Minister #Denys_Shmyhal announced.
He said a memorandum was signed on November 6 between a #Ukrainian company and #Saab to localize #Gripen production in #Ukraine — from large-scale assembly to the manufacturing of individual parts.
The #NATO delegation led by #Matthew_Whitaker also held a meeting with Defence Minister #Denys_Shmyhal: they discussed innovation and the “protection of #Ukrainian skies from enemy drones and missiles,” especially during the winter period.

#Ukraine has received a $1.7 billion loan from #Canada under the Group of Seven's (#G7) Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (#ERA) initiative. These funds are backed by revenues from frozen #Russian assets.
