With the great actor Colin Jeavons - he’s 96 but you’d never know #sherlockholmes #houseofcards #DennisPotter #actor #acting
Tuli yhtäkkiä mieleen tämä klassikko. Muistaako kekään muu enää #DennisPotter'in viimeistä TV-sarjaa, #LipstickOnYourCollar? ”Bumholes”-kohtaus taisi olla heti ekassa jaksossa. #TV

The A.V. Club

I loved The Singing Detective so much (currently on iPlayer if you fancy it) I've now re/watched some other #DennisPotter classics.

Really enjoyed Karaoke + Cold Lazarus (better than I remembered it and Karaoke wins over CL for me), but couldn't really get on with Lipstick on Your Collar. It just fell a bit short and didn't seem to ask/ponder some of the big questions of his other works (life, death, illness, trauma, sex, etc.)

Now I need to try and find Pennies From Heaven

Do you observe #SpookySeason? In the first week of October I rewatched Over The Garden Wall (once I found it commercial free on Hulu); and The Singing Detective (my favorite role played by #MichaelGambon, RIP). #DennisPotter's #TheSingingDetective is not a #Halloween themed program but it’s hella spooky (see #scarecrow clip). It’s also heavy and #musical and confusing. If you’re interested I recommend watching 1 episode at a time. The only place I found it available was: https://youtube.com/watch?v=vI10_bFyqig&list=PLFSU8nMbq7Q1iW3u6flPnpsj3aSZc52xC&pp=iAQB
