I am in Bangkok, Thailand! I am attending this #DeltasUNite Summit #DeltaSummit25 for the preparation of the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of River Deltas (#UNCCRD), on behalf of the Transboundary Water InCooperation Network (TWIN). I gave a talk on:

I have attended other COPs. My group's work (TWIN) is about environmental peacebuilding around water conflicts, and we are leading the development of a proposed UN Convention for Conserving River Deltas (#DeltasUNite). I also do environmental justice activism, and I will also attend the People's COP.

#DeltasUNite will address catastrophic flooding, livelihood losses, community displacement, migration for survival (no longer rural to urban), food insecurity, hunger and poverty, as well as other climate change induced challenges.
A convention that mainstream #indigenous peoples and #local communities voices in decision making processes and Governance, achieve the desired citizen science needed as a game changer to finding global to local solutions to climate change.
