I'm returning to The Violence by #delilahsdawson to wash away the taste of the last book. I read this one back when it first came out about a year and a half ago, in a daze and not paying super close attention, and it still grabbed hold of me and wouldn't let go.
50 pages in and the hurt and pain in this book are so visceral and upsetting, but I can't stop reading.
Just like I remembered.
