August 21, 2013: The ridges today were flat, super flat. As I got closer to Pennsylvania, I started seeing more and more people. Definitely a weekend. One family tried asking me for directions, but I could only point them towards Maine or Georgia. I wasn't much help.
At the bottom of the hill was Delaware Water Gap. This is where the trail crosses the Delaware River. The trail is on a sidewalk on the side of the interstate. Nothing like Washington's crossing. On the Pennsylvania side I stopped in town at a hostel for the night, in the basement of a church.
