Diarrhoea remains a leading cause of child mortality worldwide, especially in children under five. On World ORS Day, we highlight the lifesaving power of Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) — a simple, cost-effective mix that treats dehydration caused by diarrhoea.

- Use clean water only; do not mix with milk, juices, or other liquids.
- Feed children with a spoon or cup, not a bottle.
- Prepare fresh ORS solution every time; discard leftovers after 24 hours.
