So it’s a new Monday in my #DefundTheUtilities campaign. My neighbours have now spotted Adi and me bucketing rainwater from the garden rainbarrels into the house #RainwaterFlushesAreFree and so word is beginning to spread. The utilities don’t yet know their profits are melting like chlorinated water stuck in front of the water meter.

Episode 4: another purposeful task to #DefundTheUtilities accomplished today. We’ve had so much rain here on the UK’s south coast I was wondering what to do with some of my free rainwater nestling peacefully in my 8 garden rainwater barrels.

One bucketful of water carried upstairs later, I’m refilling the toilet cistern with the free stuff instead of letting the water mains do it. Take that #WessexWaterPolluters out of your profits and #ThanksForNothing.

Rainy Monday good morning to all.
Just spent an hour on #birdsite answering Mastodon questions #LikeIKnowTheAnswer and encouraging #MigrationSceptics to jump right on board.
Also Day 7 of #DefundTheUtilities sees me snug in the conservatory by a Calor space heater while my house is cold. Happiness looks like this. #Fight #YouMayWin #Hope
