The dispute between Nigerian singer Harrysong and his estranged wife, Alexer Peres, has taken a serious legal turn. The drama escalated sharply after Alexer posted a video online detailing her frustrations.
Harrysong felt the video damaged his reputation and decided to fight back through legal channels. The singer believes the claims made in the video are false and harmful to his brand.
The billion naira demand
Harrysong’s legal team, led by Mary M. Iyenagbe of Victory Chambers, issued a “Cease and Desist” notice on January 30, 2026. The document ordered Alexer to stop all acts of defamation immediately.
The lawyers gave Alexer a strict 14-day ultimatum to offer a public apology to the singer. If she fails to comply, the firm vowed to sue for ₦1 billion in monetary damages.
This legal move comes just days after the public reacted when Harrysong ex Alexer Peres cries out about losing access to her children. The document warns that silence will force them to seek “equitable relief” for his character.
Slamming Daddy Freeze
Harrysong did not stop at legal threats; he also directed his anger toward media personality Daddy Freeze. He posted a message on his Instagram story addressing a certain “Freez.”
The singer accused the media host of turning people’s private pain into YouTube content for views. He questioned if it is right to fuel misunderstandings just to stay relevant online.
Harrysong asked Freeze to reflect on his own life before judging others. This mirrors his previous stance where Harrysong questions women’s divorce talk and demands fairness for men.
The singer insists that genuine concern should not involve public ridicule or content creation. He ended his rant by reminding the critic that his own history is also well known.
