Hey, if you're tempted to put holographic vinyl up on your shower... here's the sign to do it.
This was about a 20 minute install, renter safe (it sticks on with water and just peels off) and super easy.

miniature fridge vases that fit tiny blooms
getting caught doing a random act of kindness, and unintentionally inspiring a stranger to jump in and do one too
a productive day on the current task of the moment (despite fooling around with my new mini vases, lol)

Second Quarter Moon Waxing in Libra
Celtic Tree Month of Willow
Rainy and cold
The weather is still all over the place. Just when you think it’s safe to set things up outside, we get another cold night in the 30’sF.
Walking around on errands, though, it smells wonderful with trees and bushes in bloom. We’re also moving into pollen season, where the every day question becomes, “am I coming down with the plague, or is it just allergies?”
The dance with the three cat grass pots continues. Charlotte, Willa, and Bea all like the cat grass. Tessa won’t touch it. She’ll sniff it, and then frown and walk away.
Seedlings are growing, even the carrots. I hope it’s not just little green shoots, but that they actually turn into edible carrots. That would be delightful.
It’s been too cold to plant the cucumber, eggplant, bush beans, and tomatoes, but I’m hoping I can do those in the coming week.
Planting days are tomorrow and Saturday, so I will try to get some more flowers and herbs started.
One tiny Eucalyptus shoot has come up. It’s kind of adorable.
I did the peel-and-stick wallpaper on the inside of the kitchen door (butterflies and cherry blossoms) and the outside (green and gold fronds). The inside turned out very well, and I’m proud of myself for matching the panels well. The outside, I’m not as thrilled with. I’ll live with it for a bit, and then decide. If I hate it, I can peel it off and try something else. I did not buy expensive paper for this little experiment. Still, it looks better than the bare door. I picked colors and patterns that we liked, and that fit the feng shui of that part of the house.
I got the bench and the bistro chairs oiled out back, as well as the bistro table we use on the porch in winter. Because of the dropping temperatures, I have to wait to oil the last porch chair and the small porch table. I don’t want them to crack.
I’m hoping to get things even partially set up out there this weekend, even if I don’t move the plants out until next week.
The borage isn’t looking good. I hope I don’t lose it.
I’m looking forward to the Farmers’ Market on Saturday. Last one indoors before they move it to outside and weekly for the good weather!
How are things in your garden?

It took ages because we had to get the walls replastered.
