Where I come from, during the nazi occupation of Yugoslavia/Serbia in WWII after 10 nazis got killed and 26 wounded by partizans, nazi commander Franz Friedrich Bohme gave order to execute 100 serbs for every nazi killed and 50 for every nazi wounded. They murdered almost 3000 people in 3 days.

That was inspired by Wilhelm Keitel, top nazi commander, who in the name of Hitler, gave that as a general order to quell resistance uprising in Serbia.
