Listening to ‘The Sound of Perseverance’ by the band Death from 1998.

I ignored this band for so long, and Eldest Kid got me listening to them. This album in particular I really like as the band had become increasingly more progressive over their career.

Most fans would know it’s also the final album as cofounder Chuck Schuldiner died from brain cancer in 2001. Still, the album is a worthy part of his legacy.

Huh, OTOH the first #DeathBand album Scream Bloody Gore is amazing. Did they change singers or something? This is a great #metal album, might have to save this one up my sleeve for a super-fast'n'angry #ListeningClub sometime
