My #DeanGuitars #banjo #guitar arrived! It's got that Gran Sport / SG shape that #Gibson decided decades later they didn't like Armadillo using.

I haven't played it for long but, acousticly those plain strings (post removing tape) sound really cool; #ethereal. I was originally planning tuning it BEAD--what's those higher strings? 😆 Now, I'm rethinking actually tuning it 1 string higher instead of lower.

Eventually I do want to replace the drum head with a real skin. Keep it au natural & traditional, ya know?

There's a Southern #Gothic playlist floating around. Between that & the bands on #ProjektRecords. That's my inspiration. Let's see where things go!

Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist. He is among the most important figures of Modern Style, i.e. British Art Nouveau style. (I was inspired by the mahogany finish and curves).
