Normalerweise wiegt die Last eines erfolgreichen Vorgängers bei Videospielen nicht so schwer wie bei anderen Medien – allerdings ist die Deadly Premonition Duologie alles andere als normal. Nirgendwo sonst könnten Verbesserungen zu Problemen werden, aber trotzdem ihren eigenen Charme entfalten.

I decided to try and finish off a number of games I had started on the Switch but never completed whilst back in Aotearoa. I completed #DeadlyPremonition2 (terrible; don't play, even if you love the first game as I do) and now I'm at the end of #LinksAwakening.

Still thinking about #DeadlyPremonition2. The way it ends somewhat overwrites the end of the first game, which managed to be very bittersweet. Yet the continuation of the story is also quite off-putting. It really does leave a sour taste in one’s mouth

The problem with #DeadlyPremonition2 (other than the dreadful gameplay; something the original also had) is that it is trying to be both a prequel and a sequel to the original game when it would have been better to just be another weird story

Not sure why
But #FlowerSunAndRain always felt like a #stylish movie to me.

( #DeadlyPremonition2 has the graphics advantage and Patty as co-protagonist, but FSR has the whacky characters.)
