The #2004WorldJuniorFigureSkatingChampionships were held at the #DeUithof in #TheHague, #Netherlands between February 29 and March 7. Junior age eligible figure skaters competed for the title of World Junior Champion in #mensSingles, #ladiesSingles, #pairSkating, and #iceDancing. Due to the large number of participants, the men's and ladies' qualifying groups were split into groups A and B. The ice dancing qualifying event was split into two groups as well.

Liberate a building and end UU's complicity

🚨 JOIN OUR UPCOMING OCCUPATION 🚨

🔻 There is no peace without justice. The so-called ceasefire - which “Israel” repeatedly breaks without consequences - changes nothing for us in the West: we have to end our complicity, and do so immediately.

🔻 The UU is still collaborating with those institutions if occupation and settler colonialism who play a key role in executing the genocide and apartheid of Palestinians. This is simply unacceptable.

🔻 To take action against this, we will be liberating one of UU’s buildings from its complicit owners, and turning it into a space where discussion and action for Palestine can flourish.

🔻 Join us in this act of reclamation and resistance: come follow our program, help with some chores, or simply come study there. What is most important is that we are there, and are so together: as long as we are united, we will never be defeated!

Wedstrijd onderbroken door regen aan knuffels voor arme kinderen: 'Dit is zo gaaf'

Beren, unicorns, schapen, actiefiguren en konijnen. Een hartverwarmend tafereel vrijdagavond in de ijshockeyhal van De Uithof, waar vanaf de tribunes zeker 1.400 knuffels op het ijs werden gegooid. De aaibare vracht gaat naar arme kinderen die anders niets zouden krijgen met Sinterklaas. 'Heerlijk.'

De @utrechtuniversity verliest een prominente oud-bestuurder. Hans van Ginkel, de langstzittende rector-magnificus overleed afgelopen week op 83-jarige leeftijd.
