A pregnant woman was rescued from the brink of death in Daykundi.
After 48 hours of effort, security forces rescued a pregnant woman in the Betmor area of Daykundi district, Daykundi province, and transported her to a hospital.
According to reports received by Radio Harat, the woman was a resident of Turkutol village who was trapped in her home due to severe labor pains and was facing a serious threat to her life due to the lack of healthcare facilities.
Previously, security forces have also transported numerous patients who were trapped in labor in other provinces, including Meidan Wardak.
