Got a solid idea for a story yesterday while I was peeing.

Told myself I needed to get it down as a note on my phone after I had flushed and washed my hands, going over it again and again so I didn’t forget it.

Reassured myself that even if I didn’t get it down right away, this was a doozy and would be hard to forget.

Reminded myself that I’ve thought that before and easily forgotten plenty of ideas anyway.

Seconds later, washing hands, I was hit by the distractions of getting back to my work shift and totally forgot I even had an idea. Didn’t even remember having one until this morning, by which time the idea was of course completely gone. I literally can’t even remember if it was actually a story idea or tabletop game idea.
