The results from yesterday’s #eggnog poll are in! Thank you all for humoring me. While a fair share of those who participated agree with me that eggnog is delicious (42%*), 1 in 4 participants have never even had eggnog! In the original thread we had some great discussions around eggnog additions, homemade vs store-bought, and the acceptable quantity to imbibe. Eggnog is a truly divisive holiday drink. *n=161

Question from a confused American: Do people “celebrate” #BoxingDay in any way, or is it simply a bank holiday? Over here we just call it the #DayAfterChristmas and it generally centers around eating leftovers, cleaning, and enjoying your gifts.

The day after Christmas has arrived. Since I'm in the US, no "Boxing Day"... it's basically "back to work, minions" unless your employer gives the day off. Also stores will be busy with returns and "after-Christmas"/New Year's sales.

(I did once work a seasonal job that ran an actual Boxing Day sale called such---the store owners were Canadian.)
