If we can understand the problem of frustration, we shall have a mentality that is not merely intellectual but an integrated activity. Our religions, our social activities are based on frustration and sorrow. If we can go into this question of frustration, which is really the problem of duality, we may be able, for ourselves as individuals, to come to a creativity that is not a mere capacity or gift but a totally different action.

I must be aware I am suffering, I am in anxiety, in a state of confusion and of fear. To recognise that, transformation is essential; I must not be self-contented. There must be real discontent. It must have a quality which is not mere change. If you see a cobra and know it to be a cobra, you have an instantaneous response. There is a bodily response to the poisonous snake, and you jump. It is not out of fear that you avoid it, but the understanding of the nature of the poison keeps you away.

Funny enough, I was discussing Johnnie Walker Blue with a coworker today at an office holiday gathering, and what do I find in drawer 11? Johnnie Walker Blue. Smoke, dried fruit, and honey on the nose; cocoa, peat, and candied orange peel on the palate; some spice and vanilla in the finish. Better than I remembered, but I'm still not sold on the bang-for-buck.

Day 11 done.

Memoization actually worked for this one. My first instinct was to just crawl the graph with a memo, and it fortunately did the right thing. It was effectively an exhaustive depth-first search. Really not much to discuss.

My code is not nice or clean, but after yesterday's, I can't even be assed to clean it up or properly comment it. I barely gathered the gumption to pass errors up, and when I started writing it, I was just throwing unwrap() everywhere.
