Heute bei mir eingetroffen:
#thinclient Dell OptiPlex 3000 TC mit #pentium Silver-Prozessor. 16 GByte RAM und 64 GByte eMMC, integriert. Steckplatz für weitere #ssd vorhanden. Preislich erschwinglich.
Leider mit unpassendem Netzteil geliefert (zu dicker Stecker), aber Ersatz ist auf dem Weg.

Bin gespannt auf die Performance und den #stromverbrauch

Damit möchte ich weg vom prinzipiell teuer werdenden #vps bei #strato

Laufen sollen darauf #docker #container mit:
- #nextcloud
- #gitea
- #ntfy
- #readeck
- #dawarich
- #caddy

Beim Speicherkonzept bin ich mir noch nicht sicher. Teure M2-SSD kaufen (500 GByte reichen mir) oder Daten auf dem vorhandenen #nas einbinden und per #nfs mounten?

das mit dem #dawarich Client auf dem Handy funktioniert übrigens ganz gut. Ich habe heute morgen mal den Gang zum Bäcker aufgezeichnet und dann zu Hause ins #homelab synchronisiert. Next up: mal testen, wie sich das bei längerer Nutzungsdauer auf den Akku auswirkt, z.B. bei einer Radtour oder längeren Wanderung.

@e_es @truhe Direkt zusammen mit der Nextcloud funktioniert das von @mk erwähnte erwähnte Phonetrack. Ich habe das mal ausprobiert, irgendwas gefiel mir aber nicht. Aktuell habe ich #dawarich (dawarich.app) neben der Nextcloud laufen. Dahin loggt dann der von mk ebenfalls erwähnte GPSlogger hin. Auch die Phonetrack App kann zu dawarich loggen. Zusätzlich speichert der GPSlogger nach Beendigung des Tracks die gpx-Datei automatisch ab, das wird dann per Autoupload in meine Nextcloud geschoben.

@Ramonsta72 danke, das werde ich wohl mal machen mit dem Account auf einer Instanz. Ich hab noch gar nicht näher geschaut, wie viele es da inzwischen gibt. Das Thema hatte ich jetzt länger beiseite geschoben.

Bei Clients hatte ich an so Dinge gedacht wie #overland oder #owntracks, die funktionieren z.B. auch mit #dawarich

Wenn ich was sinnvolles ausgetestet habe, werde ich es hier teilen.
