Divulgation ici en primeur de mes recherches (encore une journée entière à creuser... au début j'ai cru à une défaillance de mon code):

À la jonction de clips, Davinci Resolve applique insidieusement lors du rendu un fade out/fade in de 1.5 ms ! 😑 Malheureusement audible. Bug? Feature?

PS: ce n'est pas un artéfact de compression, le rendu est fait en PCM linéaire.

Shit, un upgrade mineur de Linux Mint a scrappé l'installation (auparavant OK) de Davinci Resolve: il refuse de démarrer because "can't initialize OpenGL trucmuche" 🤬

Audio "mixing" in #davinci_resolve without any knowledge ledge beside youtube academy is quite hard and a lot of voodoo. Just changed this track by 0.1 dB here and everything sounds terrible there. need asap a external mic and the new #dji action 6 ... #youtube #creator

And finally, for editing, they don't need much, so it was either #kdenlive or #davinci_resolve for heavy work.

The hardest sell has always been Photoshop. Creatives do have a high bar to clear here, and I believe that they need a lot of help when switching software. It can be done, but its tough.

I think that the best way to help them is to switch apps first, then OS later. The apps are really the core of everything.

The OS, if it feels familiar and clicks at the start, is good enough.
