David Sylvian is another one of those artists I consider highly uneven. I can take or leave most of Japan, and a fair chunk of his solo work. But I love Rain Tree Crow, and Nine Horses' "Snow Borne Sorrow", and especially this album.
Even the mostly-instrumental second disc, which includes this song. And maybe it's mostly for the poem (which is, apparently, "The Foreboding" by Robert Graves, a fact I kept meaning to look up and now I know, recited by the author). It's possible it _may_ go on a couple of minutes too long.
