The Register has reported that Equinix is raising the temperature in their datacenters. I think that’s a good thing. There will be a lot of scrutiny of datacenter energy and water usage in the near future and datacenter operators need to prepare.

Alot of folks are working hard to help “green up” this industry and I hope to see some new standards come into play as well.
