Sierra (Veins) "A Story of Anger"

Gdy ze 2 lata temu gdzieś tam przypadkiem usłyszałem ten album, porwał mnie od pierwszych dźwięków. Bez sensu chwilę zwlekałem zanim zdecydowałem, że może jednak sobie ten album zakupię, i nagle zonk, nakład wyczerpany. Smuteczek. Porzuciłem nadzieję prawie całkiem, gdy nagle zobaczyłem, że znów jest! Wznowienie, pod nową nazwą (Sierra Veins), ale co tam - ważne, że muza ta co trzeba ;)

Nie jestem jakimś wielkim fanem elektroniki, ale ta masuje mi mózg należycie. Pewnie dlatego, że budowę te kawałki mają dość rockową, a nie stricte elektoniczno-techniawkową (choć i takie bywają zacne, nie ukrywam), a do tego brzmią potężnie. I pewnie gdyby ktoś zrobił wersję z dodatkowymi gitarami, obstawiam, że wystarczyłoby dograć dodatkową ścieżkę, i byłoby git. Tylko czy jest sens to robić? Ciężar i mrok już tu są.

Drugą płytę kupiłem od razu, nie ma co czekać na wyczerpanie nakładu ;)

Eye of the Wild by nedogled is another concept album I enjoy. From the record's Bandcamp page:

Nature continues its unrelenting march of innovation through iteration, even after the flame of human civilization has fizzled out shortly upon reaching its apex.

New forms of life are being tested, some of them making incredible feats of evolution as they interact with ancient forces that have lain dormant for countless ages. Slowly rising from their deep slumber after the noise of humanity had subsided. Ready again, to take their rightful place as custodians of the Earth.

Descendants of the human species are now scattered across the planet, small in number and largely insignificant, adapting to life in unstable environments.

A tribe of these post-human nomads stumbles across the landscape as their minds brush with sentiences that exist on the outer edge of their comprehension.

These are their testimonies.I dig the blend of electronic and metal music on this atmospheric instrumental record.
