The Darksign brands the Undead. And in this land, the Undead are corralled and led to the north, where they are locked away, to await the end of the world...

What the fuck!
I played so much #DarkSouls and learned so much of the lore but never realized that the undead are manufactured... It's literally in the item descriptions and in the opening scene!
I have been playing a lot of Dark Souls 2. A lot.
And I swear, not counting bosses even though they are relatively easier, only like 25% of deaths are due to enemies. The other 75% is ledges. Ledges are the real boss in DS2.
So, while I am not gonna stop running and jumping everywhere, tho... I'm instituting a new policy:
Stop playing after the 3rd ledge death and go touch grass
Rusted Mastodon Set for Mastodon friends...
So yesterday she beat the game. It was mostly just finishing up some leftover bosses, the hardest of which was Sif. Not because she died a lot though.
She knew from the start, that she would have to kill Sif at some point and was not looking forward to it at all, because she loves dogs a LOT. She avoided that fight for as long as possible.
After going through the Artorias DLC and rescuing a young wolf from the Abyss, seeing Sif recognize her, yet still fight her made what was about to come weigh so much heavier. By the time Sif was limping and weakly falling over, she was full on breaking out crying and feeling so sorry for what she had to do to Artorias's loyal companion. She needed to put down the game for a while after that.
She told me after, that the worst thing was, that it wasn't even much of a fight at all, she didn't need to use Estus even once. It was not a boss fight, it was a tragedy.
