TW: I made this painting when my best friend/ ex boyfriend died 3 years ago. Left me drowning here alone. “Ride or die” and he chose die. Even after all of the horrible horrible things I experienced in my life this was the hardest by a lot. Him dying was worse than my own father dying to kind of put things into perspective. However I can say now that grief is kind of a beautiful thing because it means you loved someone so much that their absence tears you apart forever.

I painted this with ink.
