The Savage Rose by The Savage Rose, released on Polydor in 1968.

Review by Richie Unterberger

Their debut is their lightest and most charming effort. Waltzing melodies give way to thunder-of-doom bass runs, and the storybookish lyrics have a forlorn, yearning quality. With its oddly hollow sound, one is never really sure whether the tone is supposed to be playful or ominous.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Gasolin "Gas 5" โ€“ 1975

A landmark in Danish rock history. Here Gasolinโ€™ reached a new level of lyrical depth and musical ambition. Balancing gritty urban rock with poetic and is also raw, reflective, and unmistakably Scandinavian โ€“ this is 70s rock with soul and swagger.
