Just saw this and I'm genuinely excited. A #XFiles reboot is actually happening, directed by #RyanCoogler who just won an #Oscar for Blood & Sinners this year. Both #Duchovny and #GillianAnderson have already spoken with him personally, and Anderson apparently expressed interest in returning. Nothing confirmed yet though.

#RobbieAmell, who played Agent Miller in the later seasons, says he is "zero nervous" about Coogler handling it, which is a good sign.

#DanielleDeadwyler and #HimeshPatel will lead the new cast. A pilot is being made first, then #Hulu decides whether to continue. No release date yet.
