Agi: Maldive: esperti finlandesi nelle grotte per missione esplorativa

AGI - Effettuerà oggi una prima missione esplorativa la squadra di tre sub-speleologi finlandesi di Dan Europe giunti alle Maldive per cercare i quattro subacquei italiani dispersi in una grotta sottomarina nell'atollo di Vaavu. A quanto si apprende, non è previsto quindi oggi l'inizio delle operazioni di recupero dei corpi.
I tre sommozzatori finlandesi, forniti di attrezzature tecniche specializzate, stanno attualmente coordinando le operazioni con la Guardia Costiera delle Maldive prima della ripresa delle ricerche.
I sommozzatori finlandesi hanno grande esperienza nelle immersioni in grotta avendo anche partecipato nel salvataggio nel 2018 dei bambini rimasti intrappolati in una grotta in Thailandia.

Maldives: Finnish experts in caves for exploratory mission

AGI - Today, a team of three Finnish speleosub divers from Dan Europe, who arrived in the Maldives to search for the four missing Italian divers in an underwater cave in the Vaavu atoll, will conduct an initial exploratory mission. As far as it is learned, therefore, the start of the body recovery operations is not expected today.

The three Finnish divers, equipped with specialized technical equipment, are currently coordinating operations with the Maldives Coast Guard prior to resuming the search.

The Finnish divers have extensive experience in cave diving, having also participated in the rescue in 2018 of children trapped in a cave in Thailand.
