• #writing: I've written 950 words today. Protagonist is learning that there are aliens hiding on earth. Why are they hiding?

It has been a lazy, hot day here. But I still managed to do some (more or less) productive things.

• I finished two new scenes. The protagonist is now a prisoner in an underwater cave. +1837 words. #writing
• I've (almost) finished the new landing page for a business project thingy that (sadly) has nothing to do with #writing.
• I found Cubic Odyssey today and I'm already hyped. I didn't know I needed the love child of Minecraft and No Man's Sky in my life.... but I do! #gaming.

I'm pretty sure there was a time when #jira didn't suck so bad and Atlassian didn't ignore every bit of feedback or advice about the user experience.

It's been a productive day!

• Made progress on the #writing front. I've mapped out several upcoming scenes for my novel that still sits somewhere between #scifi and #speculativeFiction. Still on track to finish by the end of next month. (+1437 words)
• Brainstormed some interesting #storytelling and #interactiveFiction ideas with my business partner.
• Still can't shake the uncertainty about how my project and/or client landscape will look this year. The not-knowing part is definitely outside my comfort zone.

EDIT:

• A small update on #bibisco: I only used it to keep track of my word count. The actual writing is done in #obsidian. The editor just feels sooooo much nicer than the clunky thing #bibisco offers.
