My COVID pet, Soleil, is a miniature dachshund. She's got IVDD going on as of about Monday night, back legs are paralyzed. The earliest we can get her in to see a vet is Monday.
I am worried to say the least, but we tried everywhere. 😞
Her sister, Luna, is 2 years older, and she's not had any issues so far.
Her brother from the same litter HAS had IVDD, and had laser treatments. He's walking normally again.
Our hope is that our experience will be the same. 🙏
I picked her up this morning to take her outside, and she didn't make it… peed all over me.
It's been hard, even with medication, to keep her as still as we'd like… if you've ever seen the memes about owners of two dogs (one, and old soul, the other a crackhead) our injured dog would be the crackhead.
They are all dry, we can take them out.
